Partner Kevin Barnett has more than 20 years of experience in North Carolina criminal defense work. Mr. Barnett is well known in the Mecklenburg County courts, where he has built a reputation for successful defense of area drivers and other clients facing felony and misdemeanor charges.

Our other partner, Deke Falls, is a talented trial lawyer who concentrates on federal crimes and serious state felony cases. Mr. Falls heads our federal practice and represents clients in the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina.

Our associate, Corey Atkins, is a former Assistant District Attorney with a wide range of criminal law experience. Mr. Atkins spent years developing his criminal trial skills as a prosecutor and now represents clients in our Asheville office.
